  1. Hi Mrs. Koch,
The video was so good, I was dancing to the music. It was cool because it was our own little video.

  2. Dear Mrs. Koch,
I like the Dr. Seuss center because my kindergarten room was decorated with Dr. Seuss books. I wonder when Dr. Seuss died? Did you know that Dr. Seuss books are my favorite books?

  3. Dear Mrs.Koch,
I am making a puppet by myself at the Puppet center. There are many different kinds of Puppets like jumping jack or marionettes.

  4. Hi Mrs. Koch,
I like the center, Bones because it tells me more information about them. All our bones make a skeleton system. Joints allows your skeleton to move. Is your skull small or big?

  5. Hi Mrs. Koch,
My center is Volcanoes and it is fun. I am learning a lot. I learned that there was a Volcano in Arizona, Hawaii, Japan and Washington.

  7. Hi Emily,
I am glad that you are enjoying the Dr. Seuss center. I didn't realize you liked Dr. Seuss books so much. Theodore Geisel was such a creative man. I have always wondered what his imagination and creative writings stories were like when he was a little boy? Which project are you hoping to do at this center?

  8. Dear Jaynah,
I was so impressed with your sewing today! Most students have trouble with the needle and they tend to make really big stitches. You did a great job. I am excited to see your puppet when it is finished.

What kind of puppet is your favorite? When I was a little girl, my grand parents brought me a marionette from their vacation. It was hard to keep the strings from getting tangled up, but I loved playing with it.

  10. Hi Miss Maddison,
You make me giggle! "Is your skull small or big?" Well, I think mine is definitely bigger than yours. If I say yes, does that mean I have a fat head? I'm not thinking that is how I want to be described! LOL (--and yes I know I used two exclamation points and broke our quality commenting rules, but your question was really funny.)

I am glad you are enjoying your Bones center work. I love your picture of the skull. You did a great job drawing it. Have you ever had a broken bone? I haven't, but if I did, I would go for the hot pink cast and then I would paint polk-a-dots on it. What color cast would you choose?

  11. Hi Zacarias,
I'm glad you like the Volcanoes center. It is one of my favorites too. One of the top five places on earth that I would like to visit is Pompeii. Have your heard of it? A volcano called Mt. Vesuvius erupted and buried the city in lava. It is a really interesting story from history. What other projects are you hoping to do at this center? You are so creative. I would love to see what you could invent for the Synthesis task.

  12. Hi Jaeda,
You did a great job making your fossil today. I think you will be surprised how real it looks when you take out the plaster. Invertebrates are some of my favorite animals. I think jellyfish are the absolute coolest! I love the shells mollusks make and you know I like tarantulas. My very favorite fossil didn't come from an animal. It came from a plant. I really like petrified wood. Have you ever seen any?
